Art Journaling Class

$35 usd
Sat Aug 17, 2:00 - 4:00 PM (CDT)
Center for Sustainable Stewardship, 5375 Big East Fork Road, Franklin, TN, USA

Art journaling is a user-friendly, fun, no-pressure way to incorporate creative expression into your daily life. Express your thoughts, memories, desires, and emotions through art, images and words. Come learn about this satisfying and enriching experience that creates a deeper sense of self, empowers us and inspires us.

In this class we will support your exploration, provide ideas, instruction, and materials to continue the practice at home. We will have fun, be creative and focus on the process - which lowers stress, calms the chaos in our heads, and makes space for creative expression. You do not need to be an artist, and many people who don’t like to journal in the traditional sense really enjoy art journaling for its freedom and naturally fun process. Even though we will not focus on the outcome (no rules here!), our creations can provide validation and insight.
Come enjoy the process of creativity and learn something about yourself along the way!

All materials will be provided for the class and each student will be given an art journal and journaling supplies to take home. Classes take place in the beautiful countryside at the Center for Sustainable Stewardship minutes from Leiper’s Fork and Franklin. Students will receive a detailed email with instructions after registration. This class is designed for adults and all levels of experience.
